Bobrisky has vehemently denied allegations that he paid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. In a recent Instagram post, he described a circulating voice recording as fake, asserting, “I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and came out.”
The controversy arose after social activist VeryDarkMan released an audio claiming Bobrisky admitted to bribing EFCC officials. Bobrisky urged his followers to disregard the rumors and emphasized that he completed his prison sentence without any irregularities. The EFCC has initiated an investigation into the bribery allegations, inviting both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan for questioning.
