A military officer ordered a woman to kneel and raise her hands for crossing a restricted barricade without her voter card at a voting location. The incident occurred at the Ministry of Education in Iyaro, Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State, during the ongoing election.

This occurred after Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun announced a 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. movement restriction on election day, with exceptions only for those in essential services.

As reported by BBC Pidgin, the restriction aims to maintain order and security during the voting process.
